An analysis-result-data distribution device for receiving a data-analysis-result-forwarding request from a user, and providing a terminal with analysis results according to the analysis-result-forwarding request received through a network from a terminal for presenting analysis results for the data, the analysis-result-data distribution device being equipped with: a storage unit for storing a compression table associating the compression rate and the compression method of the data; a circuit unit for obtaining the network communication speed upon receiving the analysis-result-forwarding request transmitted by the terminal; a size calculation unit for calculating the size of data after compression thereof for each of the different compression rate patterns in which the compression rate is changed; and a compression-method presentation unit for calculating the forwarding time in each of the compression-rate patterns, on the basis of the communication speed and the size of the compressed data, and displaying, as the analysis result, on the display unit of the terminal, the compression method which yields the most detailed data among the data compression methods capable of delivery prior to a deadline, on the basis of the forwarding time and the analysis-result deadline assigned by the terminal.
