METHOD FOR RECOGNISING A CHARACTER AND/OR TEXT WRITTEN WITH A PEN, PEN FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUAL WRITING

A method for recognising a character and/or text written with a pen (12") provides that the movements of the pen (12") are detected by means of at least one movement sensor unit (20) integrated into the pen and the written characters and/or texts are identified by a character and/or text recognition unit (26") from the information about the movement of the pen (12") that has been detected by the movement sensor unit (20). The characters, words or grammar information are checked by means of a checking unit (28") which obtains information from the character and/or text recognition unit (26") about the character and/or text that has been written. Depending on the correctness of the information, a signal is emitted by means of a signal transmitter (22) integrated into the pen. Furthermore, a pen and a device for manual writing are proposed.
