The photoacoustic scanning apparatus for breast cancer diagnosis according to the present invention may comprise: a plate for breast examination which horizontally protrudes from the front of an apparatus body and on which a patient can put her breast; a laser positioning unit for adjusting the location or position of a laser collimator which emits a laser pulse from under the plate for breast examination toward breast tissue; and a probe position synchronization unit for synchronizing the location or position of the laser collimator with the location or position of an ultrasonic wave probe which receives ultrasonic waves generated in the breast tissue by the laser pulse and adjusting same.
