A method for remedying tin polluted soil and shallow water body by using an arundinella anomala plant. The study finds for the first time that the arundinella anomala of the grass family is a potential tin (Sn) hyperaccumulator and can be used for remedying Sn polluted soil and shallow water body. The method specifically comprises: planting an arundinella anomala seedling in the tin polluted soil or water body, stably absorbing and gathering an Sn pollutant in an environmental medium by using the self absorption, accumulation and metabolic functions of the arundinella anomala seedling, harvesting and handling overground parts of the arundinella anomala seedling after the arundinella anomala seedling matures, and repeatedly implementing the steps after a next plant sprouts and a new cycle is finished, so as to achieve the purpose of gradually removing the Sn pollutant in the soil or water body. The present invention has the advantages: the arundinella anomala is planted in the Sn polluted soil and shallow water body, the polluted soil and water body are remedied by using the excess gathering and extraction effects of the arundinella anomala on Sn, the cost is low, the basic structure and the function of the soil or the physicochemical property of the water body is not damaged, a secondary pollution is avoided, and the like.
