MIGRATION ACCELERATOR OF HYDROPHOBIC ORGANIC POLLUTANT USED FOR CLARIFYING POLLUTED SOIL BY PLANTING PLANT, AND METHOD FOR CLARIFYING POLLUTED SOIL USING THE ACCELERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a migration accelerator of hydrophobic organic pollutant accelerating migration of hydrophobic organic pollutants to a plant root zone when clarifying soil polluted by various kinds of hydrophobic organic pollutants including polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAHs) such as naphthalene, phenanthrene and pyrene, or persistent organic pollutants (POPs) such as dioxin, PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl) and DDT, by planting plants; and to provide a method for clarifying polluted soil using the accelerator by planting plant.;SOLUTION: The method for clarifying polluted soil polluted with the hydrophobic organic pollutants by planting plants includes using substance containing a purine compound as an essential component as the migration accelerator of the hydrophobic organic pollutant. The migration accelerator of the hydrophobic organic pollutant includes the purine compound containing caffeine. Another version of the migration accelerator of hydrophobic organic pollutant has such substance as to contain caffeine as a component thereof and easily elute the caffeine into water by coming in contact with the water, as an essential component. Addition of such accelerators to the polluted soil facilitates migration of the hydrophobic organic pollutants firmly adsorbing to the soil to the water, and as a result, the hydrophobic organic pollutants migrate to the plant root zone so as to accelerate clarification of the soil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
