METHOD AND RELATED DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING TRANSMISSION BANDWIDTH OF MEDIA STREAM

Disclosed are a method and a related device for adjusting a transmission bandwidth of a media stream. A media stream sending end acquires marks that are given by a media stream receiving end for multiple media streams according to identifiers of the media streams, the multiple media streams being transmitted at the same transmission port, and each identifier being described based on content of each media stream; and when it is detected that congestion occurs or congestion is released, the media stream sending end adjusts transmission bandwidths of the corresponding media streams according to the marks, so that the transmission bandwidths of the multiple media streams that are transmitted at the same transmission port can be adjusted based on the content of the media streams.
