Stable floor covering comprises a foam pad comprising expanded thermoplastic polyurethane foam particles. An independent claim is also included for preparing a stable floor covering comprising welding foam particles of expanded thermoplastic polyurethane to a bulk density of 10-600 kg/m 3, with hot air or steam to form a foamed sheet.
