According to an embodiment of the present invention, an adaptive noise reduction system for a digital image comprises: a temporal noise reduction unit which reduces a temporal noise of an image information; a spatial noise reduction unit which reduces a spatial noise of the image information; and an image coupling unit which couples a first output image from the temporal noise reduction unit and a second output image from the spatial noise reduction unit.
