The present invention relates to a recombinant actinomyces for producing ethanol, and a method for producing ethanol using the same, and the method for producing ethanol according to the present invention can convert pyruvate into acetaldehyde using diverse biomass materrial using an actinomyces, and convert this into ethanol, and thereby, having an advantages of enabling bio-ethanol to be effectively produced.
