The objective of present invention is to provide a welding helmet with a light shielding window which enables a worker to shield light by forming a light shielding window on the side of the helmet. The welding helmet includes a helmet body for protecting the face and a glare prevention device which protects workers eyes by shielding harmful light generated during a welding work. The welding helmet has a light shielding window on the side of the helmet body, shields external light or allows the entrance of the external light, thereby allowing a user to recognize dangerous factors around a workplace. Moreover, the welding helmet has a structure that allows the user to shield light and improves user convenience due to an extended working area.
