In redundancy of a server in which one or more virtual machines are created on hypervisor, a server redundancy system and a method, capable of increasing a response speed when there is a file input and output call of a virtual machine, and a recording medium having a computer program for server redundancy thereon are provided. The server redundancy method according to the present invention includes creating a first file system virtual machine on the hypervisor of a main server; installing a certain file system in the first file system virtual machine; arranging a buffer cache operating with the file system in a virtual memory allocated to the first file system virtual machine; creating a user virtual machine created in response to a user request on the hypervisor, so that the user virtual machine uses the file system through outsourcing; and enabling the buffer cache to have redundancy with the buffer cache of the second file system virtual machine created on the hypervisor of a standby server.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
