The present invention relates to a method for controlling a lamp of a vehicle when the vehicle enters a crossroad, and a sub lamp is off. The method for controlling the lamp of a vehicle comprises: a step for determining whether the steering angle of a handle is over a predetermined reference value or not; a step for determining to be satisfied with a first condition that a difference value between a residual distance and a driving distance is not over the predetermined reference value by receiving the residual distance to a crossroad from a navigation system in real time at a predetermined crossroad entering reference point when the steering angle of a handle is over the predetermined reference value, and accumulating the driving distance from the crossroad entering reference point; a step for turning off the lighted sub lamp after a predetermined time when being satisfied with the first condition. Even though an error in crossroad information is provided from the navigation system, the sub lamp is off at the right time when the vehicle enters the crossroad.
