The present invention relates to a method for analyzing an aldehyde compound in a metal plating solution, comprising: a step of adding a pH adjusting solution in aldehyde derivatives to control the pH to be materially identical to the pH of a metal plating solution and dissolving the aldehyde derivatives to be supersaturated, to produce a supersaturated aldehyde derivative solution; a step of adding the supersaturated aldehyde derivative solution in the metal plating solution to derivatize an aldehyde compound in the metal plating solution to produce an aldehyde derivative compound; a step of extracting the aldehyde derivative compound; and a step of analyzing the aldehyde compound from the extracted aldehyde derivative compound.
