The present invention relates to a biomarker associated with the intramuscular fat content in Hanwoo (Korean native cattle), and a diagnosis method of meat quality of the Hanwoo using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a biomarker associated with the intramuscular fat content in Hanwoo using an expression ratio of transmembrane protein 60 (TMEM60) and dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase; and a diagnosis method of meat quality of the Hanwoo using the same. By the use of the expression ratio of the TMEM60 and dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase, interpretation for the accumulation of intramuscular fat at a molecular biological level is enabled. Furthermore, based on the present invention, an advance diagnosis and selection of the high-quality meat producing Hanwoo as well as an industrial use of genetic resources are enabled. In other words, an entity which comprises an excellent genotype can be diagnosed, selected, and breed in advance so as to maximize the effectiveness and a performance of the hanwoo breeding project. Simultaneously, the genetic resources for Hanwoo of South Korea can be improved and maintained in a better way.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
