The present invention relates to an image recording system and method for a vehicle which is linked to CCTVs, wherein the image recording system can store an image recorded in a CCTV system installed at a parking facility at the time of occurrence of a specific event, in a cycle or at the time of starting the vehicle, via any wireless communication network, or can share the photographed image with the CCTV system via two-way communication, and wherein if a preset event occurs, the image recording system is automatically turned on, and transmits or receives the image to or from the CCTV system or starts the engine by communicating with a control unit of the vehicle, thereby improving a monitoring effect by mutual cooperation, easily securing the evidence image when an accident occurs, and preventing complete discharge of a vehicle battery.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
