PURPOSE: Fermented soybean paste containing wood grown ginseng, and a producing method thereof are provided to offer the flavor and taste of the ginseng to the fermented soybean paste. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of fermented soybean paste containing wood grown ginseng comprises the following steps: mixing 2.5-3.5 parts of ginseng by weight and 800-1,200 parts of water by weight, and extracting the ginseng at 110-130 deg. C for 20-40 minutes for 4-6 times to obtain a ginseng extract; mixing 1,200-1,800 parts of soybeans by weight with 40-60 parts of ginseng by weight with water or the ginseng extract for boiling, and crushing the soybeans to produce soybean blocks; drying the soybean blocks at 20-25 deg. C for 30-40 days, fermenting the soybean blocks at 20-30 deg. C for 35-45 days, and washing and drying the soybean blocks; mixing the ginseng extract with water and some salt to obtain a mixture; and mixing the soybean blocks with the mixture before fermenting the mixture for 40-50 days, and separating soy sauce from the fermented soybean paste.
