The present invention relates to a temperature prediction method when quenching a conduction-cooled superconducting coil. The present invention includes a first step of driving a conduction-cooled superconducting coil; a second step of quenching the superconducting coil locally; a third step of calculating normal-conduction resistance of the superconducting coil at regular time intervals and analyzing the distribution of temperature rise in the superconducting coil; and a fourth step of applying cooling performance of a refrigerator conduction-cooling one surface of the superconducting coil to the temperature of the superconducting coil according to the temperature rise distribution.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
