The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence type pathologic number matching system and a method thereof using automatic recognition of a pathologic number on a cassette and automatic printing of the pathologic number on a slide. According to the present invention, an image of a cassette is acquired before a clinical specimen tissue is sliced, and the extracted pathologic number is instantly printed on a biopsy slide. Thus, it is not necessary to confirm the pathologic numbers of the cassette block and the biopsy slide with the naked eyes, so that medical accidents, which may occur due to the mismatch of the pathologic numbers, can be prevented.
