An embodiment of the present invention relates to a fall prevention apparatus for a crane on which an outrigger is mounted. An embodiment of the present invention that is an apparatus on which outriggers are mounted with hydraulic cylinders being provided in the respective outriggers, the apparatus preventing a fall of a crane or a sky lift provided with a boom for moving, lifting, and lowering an operation object, includes a pressure sensor unit that is provided on one side of the hydraulic cylinder and detects pressure which is generated in the hydraulic cylinder; a controller that receives a signal relating to the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder detected by the pressure sensor unit, converts the signal to a load value by using a conversion program, calculates an actual centroid value of the crane or the sky lift by using the converted load value, and blocks an operation of the boom in a case where the actual centroid value reaches a pre-set danger section value and limits the operation of the boom in a case where the actual centroid value reaches a pre-set fall occurrence section value; and a control valve that is mounted on one side of the boom and blocks or controls the operation of the boom by using the control by the controller.
