A clamping apparatus used for making a box of an outtrigger for a crawler crane and a method for manufacturing the box by using the same are provided to prevent a structure from being shaken when manufacturing the box through a welding process. A clamping apparatus used for making a box of an outtrigger for a crawler crane comprises a base frame(40) placed on the ground, a vertical frame(50) installed perpendicularly to the base frame and supported by the base frame, a jig(70) having a mounting section for mounting an outtrigger box thereon, clamps(81-84) for fixing the position of the box, a connection rod(60) fixedly connected to the jig and a handle(90) provided at one end of the connection rod to rotate the jig and the clamps. The connection rod rotates at an upper portion of the vertical frame to rotate the jig.
