The combination of lipophilic extracts for use in the treatment of pruritus, peripheral pain, superficial or deep inflammatory and painful conditions, pain associated with muscle cramps, herpetic pain, radiation dermatitis caused by radiation therapy for cancer, in the presence or absence of fungal or bacterial infections, edema and skin irritation conditions, including conditions caused by excessive exposure to sunlight. 2. The combination according to claim 1, in which extracts of both plant species are obtained from the roots or rhizomes by extraction with supercritical carbon dioxide. The combination according to claims 1 and 2, containing isobutylamides and gingerol from mass ratios ranging from 1: 1 to 1: 0.1.4. The combination according to claim 3, containing isobutylamides and gingerol from a weight ratio of 1: 0.5.5. A composition comprising a combination of lipophilic extracts according to claims 1-4 together with physiologically compatible excipients and excipients for use in the treatment of pruritus, peripheral pain, superficial or deep inflammatory and painful conditions, pain associated with muscle cramps, herpetic pain, radiation dermatitis caused by radiation cancer therapy, in the presence or absence of fungal or bacterial infections, edema and skin irritation conditions, including conditions caused by excessive exposure to the sun about light. 6. The composition of claim 5, which is in a form suitable for topical administration.
