MARINE AC HIGH-FREQUENCY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WITH ELECTRIC PROPULSION SYSTEM AND MATRIX FREQUENCY CONVERTERS

FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: application: in the field of electrical engineering. The system consists of n (where n=1, 2, 3…) main high-frequency turbo(diesel)-generators; two AC electric mains with master distribution boards (MDB) of high voltage and high frequency and MDB of low voltage and industrial frequency; electric propulsion system consisting of m (where m=1, 2…) propulsion AC motors and respective number of frequency converters; powerful high-frequency consumers; centralised power takeoff system and marine consumers of industrial frequency. The system uses cascade matrix frequency converters with power transformers as frequency converters; at that their primary windings are connected to MDB of high voltage and frequency.;EFFECT: simplifying system of power distribution, reducing total weigh and dimensions of equipment and decreasing loss power with maintenance of required levels and parameters of power supply quality.;3 cl, 1 dwg
