The torsion bar suspension (10) has a bodymounted interconnected torsion bar (12), whose opposite torsion bar end spring base (20) is articulated on a wheel guide element (16). Another bodymounted interconnected torsion bar (14) stands in operative connection with the spring base. The latter torsion bar is rotatable by an adjusting unit (22). The torsion bars are arranged parallel or coaxial to each other. The former torsion bar is formed as a hollow rotating tubular spring and the latter torsion bar is arranged in the interior of the hollow torque tube spring.
