Device for generating many steam- or hot water streams in a coke oven bank, comprises (i) a coke oven of heat recovery type, which is arranged in a coke oven bank, (ii) a coke oven chamber (3) with a gas chamber, which forms a primary heating space, (iii) a coke oven chamber cover, (iv) a coke oven chamber door, (v) a primary air opening, (vi) a loading and an unloading system, (vii) an exhaust gas passage (5), (viii) a heat exchanger (1), (ix) a valve for dosing the exhaust gas passage, (x) a feed water line, (xi) a steam line and (xii) a conversion unit. Device for generating many steam- or hot water streams in a coke oven bank, comprises (i) a coke oven of heat recovery type, which is arranged in a coke oven bank, (ii) a coke oven chamber (3) with a gas chamber, which forms a primary heating space (3c) in a loaded state, (iii) a coke oven chamber cover, (iv) a coke oven chamber door, (v) a primary air opening for the primary heating space and a secondary heating space comprising secondary air openings, (vi) a loading and an unloading system for the coke oven, (vii) an exhaust gas passage, which connects the secondary heating space to a fuel gas system, (viii) a heat exchanger (1), which is arranged between the secondary heating space and an exhaust gas collection system in the exhaust gas passage, (ix) a valve, which is arranged in the gas flow downstream to the heat exchanger for dosing or blocking the exhaust gas passage, (x) a feed water line, (xi) a steam line, and (xii) a conversion unit for conversion of the thermal energy of the steam from the steam collection line into secondary energy. The secondary heating space is placed under the coke oven chamber. The loading and unloading system is provided for loading the coke oven chamber with the coal cake for coking and discharging the finished coke cake. The fuel gas system releases the exhaust gas to the atmospheric environment, after completion of heat exchange and required exhaust gas purification. The heat exchanger forms a device for discharging the heat of the exhaust gas on feed water by indirect heat exchange, and is associated with individual coke oven. The valve is associated with individual coke oven. The valve in the exhaust gas passage is controlled by means of pressure measurement sensor and opens into an exhaust gas collection line (11). The feed water line supplies feed water to the heat exchanger of the coke oven. The steam line removes the steam, which is produced through the heat exchanger. The steam line is led into a steam collection line. The steam collection line further carries the removed steam. An independent claim is also included for producing steam- or hot water streams in the coke oven bank, comprising (a) combining 6-30 coke oven chambers of heat recovery type into the coke oven bank, (b) heating the coal at high temperature by cyclic carbonization comprising loading, coking, discharging, carbonizing the coal in the coke oven chamber, forming the coking gas with a partial amount of combustion air in the primary heating space, which is formed by release of the gas chamber in the coke oven chamber, substoichiometrically combusting, supplying the partially combusted coking gas into secondary heating space below the coke oven chamber through the exhaust gas passage, and completely combusting the coking gas with superstoichiometric amount of combustion air, (c) providing the completely combusted gas from the secondary heating space via the exhaust gas passage into the heat exchanger with an integrated adjustable exhaust valve so that the exhaust gas mass flow, which passes through the heat exchanger, is controllable, (d) measuring the exhaust gas pressure at the inlet of the exhaust passage in the heat exchanger so that the exhaust gas pressure at each coke oven chamber is at least temporarily adjusted to a constant value via the exhaust gas valve, (e) generating steam through the completely combusted exhaust gas into the heat exchanger with respect to the supplied exhaust gas stream, supplying the steam to the steam collection line, discharging steam onto the conversion unit for producing secondary energy, after passing through the steam collection line, and (f) placing the completely combusted and cooled exhaust gas into the exhaust gas collection line, after passing through the adjustable heat exchanger, and reusing the exhaust gas or discharging into the surrounding, where the exhaust gas passage is arranged in the sides of the coke oven chamber.
