The turbocharger (1) has a pivot element which is connected with an adjusting shaft (3) supported at a housing (5). A bearing (2) is detachably mounted on the housing and fixed to a guide bush (10) consisting of guide bush material, and a composite bearing bush (11) consisting of material different from guide bush material. The guide bush is partially received with the bearing bush which is supported with the adjusting shaft. The composite material is filled with filler formed of austenitic steel. An independent claim is included for a method for assembly of supercharger.
