The systems (1,21) has electro-motor-driven shafts (6,46) that are acted upon by the rotational torque, when the clutches (10,30) are operated. The electro-motor-driven shafts are provided with respective non-contact torque sensor devices (15,55) for detecting rotational torque applied to the shaft, when the clutches are actuated. An independent claim is included for method for actuating clutch by electromechanical clutch actuating system.
