The upgrade kit (32) has parallelogram planar filling element (11) such as aluminum plate for region-wise filling of space (8) formed between a handrail (5) of the banister and steps (4) of a staircase (2). A stabilizing element (10) for mounting on handrail, is connected with staircase. A strip (9) is extended parallel to the handrail. A fastening element (12) is provided for mounting of filling element on the stabilizing element.
