The present invention provides a method for producing ticarcillin disodium under mild reaction conditions, with less secondary reactions, with fewer steps and with good controllability, which uses the following steps of: (1) reacting with 3 - thiophene malonic acid n-hydroxylsuccinimide in an organic solvent with catalysis by dcc and dmap, in order to obtain an intermediate product, which is isolated and purified by column chromatography, (2) dissolving the intermediate product in dichloromethane and then addition of 6 - apa and an alkali, in order to obtain by reaction of ticarcillin, (3) reacting ticarcillin means with a salt, in order to obtain ticarcillin disodium.
