The method involves partially or completely detecting and storing a hyperlink parameter of hyperlinks e.g. text links, which are provided on web pages to be examined. Existence of open-menus is detected (4) by occurrences of href-attributes in preset arrangements and/or with preset formats. Different link planes of the open-menus are detected (5) by analysis of the formats or other properties of the hyperlinks. Obtained data is evaluated. The open-menus are associated to the superordinate and/or subordinate hyperlinks. Hierarchical relationships with a URL of associated web pages are stored.
