The system has an actuator (1) supported on a vehicle bodywork (2) and connected with a wheel carrier (3). The wheel carrier is arranged parallel to a wheel plane (z) of a rotational axis. The actuator is engaged at the wheel carrier along the rotational axis such that variation in length causes a steering movement of a wheel. A sensor (5) i.e. slant sensor, is integrated into a housing (4) of the actuator. The sensor detects an inclination of the actuator to a track. A control device determines output signals of the sensor and a releasing position of a shock absorber unit (6). The actuator is designed as an electromechanical actuatable actuator and a hydraulic actuatable actuator.
