The plate (10) has a module area (16) for insertion into a gap (22) between a gableboard-profile plank (12) and side lobes (20) of a gableboard tile (14), where the side lobes overlap with the profile plank. A curved or folded profile-lower edge (18) is attached to a directly formed profile-lower edge of another gableboard lining-profile plate in a form-fit manner in insertion directions. The folded profile-lower edge has a covering area (26) for covering a lower side of the profile plank, where the covering area is inwardly bent around 90 degrees from a free end of a spring area (24). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a gableboard lining-profile plate.
