The method involves controlling two electromotive actuators i.e. hydraulic- or pneumatic brake devices, of a hand brake (22) based on brake size, which represents a braking action and applied during a phase, and a slant size, which represents vehicle slant, and a pressure size. The pressure size is determined by utilizing a pressure sensor. The slant size is determined by utilizing a slant sensor. A possible rotating movement of a wheel of a vehicle is monitored by utilizing a motion sensor. Time duration is defined to monitor the movement of the wheel of the vehicle based on the slant size. An independent claim is also included for a regulating- and/or control device for controlling an automatic hand brake working on a wheel of a vehicle.
