The present invention relates to the field of wireless telecommunications, and more particularly to a method of establishing an IP connection over a 3GPP mobile network at least partially of IP type, a network equipment, MME or PDN-GW, of this mobile network, a mobile network infrastructure, a mobile terminal and a corresponding system. The method comprises the following steps, on a first piece of equipment, MME or PDN-GW, of the mobile network other than mobile UE UE of the mobile network: receiving a fully qualified domain name, FQDN, issued by a UE mobile equipment of said network mobile, the FQDN identifying a target data server; and trigger, upon receipt of the FQDN, the resolution of the FQDN to an IP address of the target data server. Thus, a mobile user equipment equipped with a UICC card can be produced at low cost without embedding DNS resolution mechanisms.
