The method involves dimensioning a set of rules, where each rule is allowed to present a support face on a formwork delimited between an upper edge and a lower edge from which a lower side face extends. The support face is arranged with a height that is equal to the difference between a nominal distance (dat) and an additional distance (ht). A level of an under-face of a floor (1) is traced on a form of the formwork. The rules levelled with the formwork are set up by positioning the lower edge in a layout. An independent claim is also included for a cuboid rule.
