The head-rest has a rigid support covered with a trimming for support of back of a head of an occupant. Sound holes (3) transmit sounds on both sides of the rigid support. The rigid support includes a resonance chamber (21) for sounds emitted by a loudspeaker (13). The resonance chamber includes a front box of a scoop (5) and a pipe (9). The resonance chamber has a high volume on the outlet of the loudspeaker so as to be reduced gradually to an outlet of the pipe. The loudspeaker is inclined at 45 degrees with respect to a transverse axis of the head rest.
