The device (1) has a support (9) for supporting a case (12) of a watch (10) and transmitting vibrations of the case to a feather-shaped structure that emits a sound signal. The structure has upper and lower panels (3, 4) connected with each other by stakes and a fishplate, and cords (5a-5c) with ends fixed on the panel (3), where the structure is made of wood. The case has an articulated clapper (14) with a dolphin striker (15) to return the case against the support by applying a part of weight of the clapper on the case.
