PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce barium titanate fine particles having a small particle diameter and good dispersibility by a low-cost method that is eco-friendly and does not require high temperature and pressure facilities.;SOLUTION: A mixed solution of an aqueous solution of titanium tetrachloride and an aqueous solution of barium chloride contains one or more water-soluble polymers of a polyether-based polymer, a vinylalcohol polymer, and a polyacrylamide, and is heated in a temperature range of 90-120°C for reaction. Because the production method practices an aqueous reaction at a normal pressure, it is eco-friendly, uses a comparatively inexpensive feedstock that is industrially available, and does not require a special synthesis process using high temperature and pressure facilities. Produced barium titanate fine particles have an average particle size of 50-300 nm, a variation coefficient of the particle size of 25% or less, and a spherical particle shape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
