PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological deodorization apparatus and a biological deodorization method capable of improving deodorization capacity in a short time.SOLUTION: A biological deodorization apparatus in an embodiment includes a biological reaction tower, a packed bed, a microorganism storage tank and a microorganism feeding mechanism. A gas containing an odorous component is introduced into the biological reaction tower. The packed bed is disposed at the inside of the biological reaction tower. The packed bed has a carrier held with microorganisms. The microorganism storage tank is disposed at the inside of the biological reaction tower. The microorganism storage tank stores water containing the microorganisms below the packed bed. The microorganism storage tank has a microorganism concentration part concentrating the microorganisms. The microorganism feeding mechanism can feed the microorganisms drawn from the microorganism concentration part to the packed bed.
