Odors,especially chemical offensive odors,and volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are different from other air pollutants because of their disgusting and sensitive characteristics.They are regulated as air pollutants affecting human life and environment by law and have sources of various kinds.It is known that they are produced from chemical manufacturing,wastewater treatment,painting,incinerator,washing,printing,dyeing and food waste treatment facilities.The remarkable characteristics of the odors and VOCs are low reaction capability with other chemicals and high stability in the air.Therefore,they remain and accumulate in the air,which could make a bad affect to the environment.
