PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an error in arrangement position of an article caused by changes in ambient temperature, with simple processing.;SOLUTION: An article transfer device includes: transfer mechanisms 11, 13, 15 for holding an article 27 by an article holding part 1 and transferring the article 27 to a predetermined article arrangement position 29; a control part 9 for controlling the operation of the transfer mechanisms 11, 13, 15; a position recognition part 17 for recognizing the holding position of the article held by the article holding part 1 of the transfer mechanism 11 and the article arrangement position 29; an ambient temperature detection part 19 for detecting the ambient temperature; and a storage part 7 for storing position correction information which is measured in advance and represents the relationship between the ambient temperature and a position correction calibration value. The control part 9 controls the transfer mechanisms 11, 13, 15 by using a position correction calibration value according to the ambient temperature detected by the ambient temperature detection part 19 on the basis of the position correction information stored in the storage part 7, to arrange the article 27 at the article arrangement position 29.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
