PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the time in which it is predicted that job execution may be completed almost certainly.SOLUTION: A job management device includes a function value table storing a (t) value that is a value of an inverse function to a cumulative distribution function of (t) distribution. First of all, the job management device calculates an average value and an unbiased standard deviation for execution times of jobs with results of execution (S702 and S703). Next, the job management device acquires the (t) value from the function value table by inputting to the function value table an upper-side probability selected from among a predetermined number of options and a degree of freedom calculated from total execution times of jobs with results of execution. On the basis of the average value and the unbiased standard deviation for the execution times of the jobs with the results of execution and the (t) value acquired from the function value table, the job management device then calculates an execution time that is a value determined by the upper-side probability for which a relative frequency of the (t) distribution is selected, and defines the calculated execution time as an upper limit value for the execution times of the jobs (S704).
