PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid amplification method, a device for nucleic acid extraction, a cartridge for nucleic acid amplification reaction, and a kit for nucleic acid amplification reaction.SOLUTION: There is provided the nucleic acid amplification method comprising an adsorbing step of mixing an adsorption liquid and microparticles containing a chaotropic substance to a sample containing nucleic acids, and adsorbing the nucleic acids to the microparticles; a washing step of washing, with a first washing fluid, the microparticles to which the nucleic acids adsorbed ; an eluting step of eluting the nucleic acids adsorbed to the microparticles into an eluate; and a nucleic acid amplification step of performing a nucleic acid amplification reaction to the nucleic acids in the eluate, the adsorption liquid containing alcohol, the pH of the first washing fluid being acidic. There are also provided the device for nucleic acid extraction which can perform this method, the cartridge for nucleic acid amplification reaction, and the kit for nucleic acid amplification reaction.
