PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual object-confirming adhesion material facilitating finding and observation of a residual object remaining in a washing object after washing, and to provide a confirmation method for the residual object using the same.SOLUTION: Residual object-confirming adhesion materials 2A and 2B previously made to adhere to a washing object 1 so as to confirm a residual object remaining in the washing object 1 after washing are configured by applying coloration to chips generated in cutting. In the residual object-confirming adhesion materials 2A and 2B, preferably, the chips are applied with the coloration by being painted with a paint emitting visible light in an excited state.
