PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument for calligraphy training which provides less labor of preparation and clear when training of calligraphy, which reduces probability that children of the lower classes make their clothes and their surrounding dirty by Chinese ink and make a tip end of their writing instruments spoil, and which allows children to reproduce writing feeling such as writing feeling when they use a writing brush.SOLUTION: Provided is a writing instrument 1 for calligraphy training used on a magnetic display board. The writing instrument 1 for calligraphy training has a spring member 3 which has an inverted V-shape in side view and which is bent on a tip end of a writing pipe 2 which is formed into an approximate columnar shape and slender. To a bottom surface of at least a tip end of the spring member 3, a magnetic body 4 is fastened.
