PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-video system in which deviation of the number of times of key processing is prevented between display devices, when a long depression key code is transmitted from a master apparatus to a slave apparatus, and to provide a control method of a multi-video system and a display device.SOLUTION: In a multi-video system including a first display device and one or more second display device functioning as daisy-chained slave devices, the first display device includes a receiving section for receiving an operation key code transmitted from a remote control terminal, a control section performing key processing depending on the operation key code, and generating a key command corresponding to the key processing, and a command transmitting section for transmitting the key command to the second display device. The control section generates the key command corresponding to the key processing, when a long depression key code, indicating long depression of the operation key of the remote control terminal, is received.
