To provide a multi-video system that easily allocates non-overlapping identifiers to a plurality of display devices.SOLUTION: In a multi-video display device 10, a display device 100 comprises: a command transmission unit that, upon start-up of the display device, detects the other display devices and transmits a command for allocation of identifiers; an identifier receiving unit that receives identifiers from display devices 200 that are ones other than the display device 100 in a plurality of display devices; a conflict detection unit that determines whether the identifiers of the plurality of display devices are unique to each other and detects overlapping identifiers; and a storage unit that stores the overlapping identifiers detected by the conflict detection unit. The plurality of display devices 200 each include: a command receiving unit that receives the command from the display device 100; an identifier allocation unit that allocates the identifier on the basis of the command for allocation of identifiers; and an identifier transmission unit that transmits the allocated identifier to at least either one of the display device 100 or the display devices 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
