PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a channel-shaped side gutter against a temporary wheel load during a construction period without any obstruction to traffic since a gutter possibly has a crack, a chip, etc., harmful to use as a wheel load which is not expected when the gutter is constructed and is placed when construction vehicles pass in development activities facing the road.;SOLUTION: A breakage prevention method includes: partitioning the internal space surrounded with a channel-shaped gutter member 1 and an upper lid 2 into a water conduction space where water can be conducted and a land-filled part by a partition material such as a pipe 4 or an upper veneer 8 etc.; and dispersing and bearing the wheel load placed from a tire T of a vehicle traveling above to the channel-shaped gutter by filling the land-filled part with such a load transmission body 5 having predetermined rigidity as sediment, broken stones, etc., so as to prevent the channel-shaped gutter from being broken.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
