REVERSIBLE THERMOCHROMIC LIQUID COMPOSITION AND REVERSIBLE THERMOCHROMIC LAMINATE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermochromic liquid composition and a reversible thermochromic laminate exhibiting a color developing state where becoming coloring state by heating and recovering to a decolored state again, and high in color concentration during coloring.SOLUTION: There are provided a reversible thermochromic liquid composition consisting of a microcapsule pigment containing a reversible thermochromic composition consisting of (a) an electron donative coloring organic compound, (b) a hydroxy benzoic acid ester compound of the formula (1), (c) chain hydrocarbon or the like and (d) a styrenic compound having the softening point of 5°C or more and a weight average molecular weight of 200 to 100,000, and a vehicle containing a resin, and a reversible thermochromic laminate using the composition. In the formula (1), R represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 10 to 22 carbon atoms, one or two of X, Y and Z is a hydroxyl group and others are hydrogen.
