PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiator and a thermophotovoltaic power generation system with high power generation efficiency.;SOLUTION: A radiator (3) for a thermophotovoltaic power generation system (1) is provided with a plurality of recesses (9) on at least a part (7) of a surface of the radiator (3). The emissivity of those portions A (11) of the surface of the radiator (3) which are between the recesses (9) is lower than the emissivity of those portions B of inner surfaces of the recesses (9) whose distances from openings (9A) of the recesses (9) are a predetermined value or more.
