PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display highly accurate traffic information without relying on users' decisions.;SOLUTION: A traffic information display system includes: traffic information reception means for receiving first traffic information transmitted by a first transmission source and second traffic information, transmitted by a second transmission source other than the first transmission source, which is more accurate than the first traffic information; event number acquisition means for acquiring the first number of events representing the number of events indicated by the first traffic information, and the second number of events representing the number of events indicated by the second traffic information; display information selection means which selects either the first traffic information or the second traffic information as display information and, when the second traffic information is shown on a display section, continues to select the second traffic information as display information as long as the second number of events is equal to or more than a predetermined lower threshold number even if the second number of events becomes smaller than the first number of events; and display control means for showing the display information superimposed on a map on the display section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
